Play on the web

How to play at play.green.games from your browser, with keyboard, touch screen or gamepad, and where your records are kept.

DescribesPortal, preview release For everyone

On this page

The portal is at https://play.green.games/en. There is nothing to install and no account to create: every game runs entirely in your browser.

The portal's home page

Pick a game#

  1. Go to https://play.green.games/en and scroll down to Games. Each card shows the cover, the tags, the description and how many players the game supports.
  2. Press Play on the card. The game's page opens with its start screen.
  3. Pick the difficulty (Easy, Normal or Hard).
  4. If the game supports more than one player, pick the mode: Solo or With bots. Bots are runners driven by the game itself; they are not other people.
  5. Press Play.

Below the Play button are your best marks on that difficulty and the Controls drop-down, with what each key does in that game.

Controls#

Moving and turning the camera work the same in every game. Jump and the actions change name from game to game (in Green Light Circuit, the action is "Call the lift"), and a game may not use some of them.

With a keyboard, Esc pauses and M mutes. With any control you can use the buttons in the top right corner of the game.

A match in a desktop browser

On a phone, the jump and action buttons appear at the bottom right with the name the game gives them.

Pause, full screen and sound#

At the top right of the game there are three buttons: sound, full screen and pause.

Pausing (Esc or its button) opens a menu with Resume, Restart, Change difficulty and Exit, plus the game's controls table.

When the match ends, the end panel shows the result, your score, whether it was a record or which rank it reached on your board, and the buttons Play again, Change difficulty and Exit.

Your records#

Each game keeps its best marks per difficulty, ten per table. The marks and the progress a game saves stay only in that browser:

  • There are no global leaderboards: nobody else sees your marks.
  • If you switch browsers or computers, you start from zero.
  • If you clear the site's data in the browser, they are lost.

If you want your progress to live in a folder on your computer, use the launcher: History and progress.

Language#

The portal is in Spanish and in English. Switch with the Español and English buttons in the menu, or go straight to https://play.green.games/en. Every game carries its text in both languages.

Privacy#

The portal has no accounts, no ads and no telemetry. Every game runs isolated: it cannot read the page, use the network or touch your data. More in Isolation.
