A code of 4 symbols out of 5, repeats allowed, and 7 tries. The lights tell you the position.
There is a hidden code of symbols and only a few tries. After each try the board answers with lights: green if a symbol is in the right place, amber if it is in the code but somewhere else. Three codes per run.

What it shows
Pure deduction: computed hints, score for unused tries and a test bot that solves by reasoning, without peeking at the code. The level changes the code length, the symbols, the tries and how much the lights tell you. Each level keeps its own best score.
Difficulty
- Easy
- A code of 3 symbols out of 4, no repeats, and 6 tries. The lights tell you the position.
- Medium
- A code of 4 symbols out of 5, repeats allowed, and 7 tries. The lights tell you the position.
- Hard
- A code of 5 symbols out of 6, repeats allowed, and 10 tries. The lights only tell you how many are right, not which ones.

On a phone, you play by tapping the board. Rotate the phone or go full screen to see it bigger. Progress is saved in this browser.
The fox is called Faro. It carries the light on the tip of its tail and shows up in every game.
